I write YA and Fantasy books that are rooted in Reality. Many of my books are Speculative, and if a story is more Fantastical, I often use magic as a stand-in for Mental Health issues, overcoming trauma, and coming to a deeper understanding of self. I also love incorporating Nature, Climate Change issues, and Environmental Awareness.
